Prognosis - Warm weather, but thunderstorms and heavy rain possible
For the upcoming week, it will significantly warmer in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. However, there are also thunderstorms, heavy rain, and gales expected, as the German Weather Service announced. On Monday, the sun will first appear with maximum temperatures of 27 to 30 degrees. However, from the evening onwards, showers with strong thunderstorms, heavy rain, and gales are possible. According to DWD, local thunderstorms are not ruled out.
On Tuesday, it will be partly cloudy with individual showers, but it is also expected to remain dry in parts. The highest temperatures will be between 22 and 26 degrees. On Wednesday, the weather will continue to be friendly and dry. The temperatures will rise to a maximum of 24 to 26 degrees, in high altitudes to 21 degrees.
In contrast to the expected warmer weather in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland, the German Weather Service (DWD) has issued a thunderstorm prediction for the evening of the first day. Saarland, particularly, might experience local thunderstorms during this period. Although Offenbach, located in Hesse, is not directly mentioned in the weather forecast, it's important to note that the weather patterns can vary across different regions in Germany.
