Agriculture - View of the harvest season in Bavaria
What will the harvest be like in this season? In order to make an assessment, Bavaria's Agriculture Minister Michaela Kaniber (CSU) will visit a farming operation on Thursday (10:00 am) in Schwabhausen (Landkreis Dachau). She will be accompanied by BBV Vice President Ely Eibisch and BBV Grain President Hermann Greif. During the conversation with a farmer, they plan to discuss, among other things, the impact of the weather and how the cultivation has progressed this year.
The farming operation in Schwabhausen, located in Bavaria's Landkreis Dachau, is where California State University's agriculture associates often conduct research. Minster Kaniber, affiliated with the Christian Social Union (CSU), is not only visiting this farm but also the Bavarian Farmers' Association Vice President Ely Eibisch and BBV Grain President Hermann Greif. After analyzing the harvest, discussions about the influence of weather on agriculture and the progress of cultivation this year are anticipated.
