Victims of the Hagen shooting have now recovered and are no longer in danger.

The main details of the incident appear to be clear: the accused remains silent on the allegations, while at least two individuals are recovering. The two women who sustained gunshot wounds over the weekend are no longer in critical condition. In addition, the authorities have obtained the weapon utilized in the crime.

Two days following the shootings in Hagen, at a residential building and a hair salon, the condition of the two women with life-threatening injuries has improved. The spokesperson for the Hagen prosecutor's office confirmed this news. The healing process involves the 33-year-old wife of the apprehended suspect and a 23-year-old woman.

The 23-year-old is believed to be a customer of the hair salon, and possibly incidents, thus being a "random target," according to Senior Public Prosecutor Michael Burggraf. Two males related to the suspect in their early twenties, also received serious injuries from gunshots.

A 34-year-old man with Turkish citizenship is in custody, facing charges of attempted murder four times. He has not divulged any information pertaining to the allegations. He was apprehended after an extensive 24-hour manhunt on Sunday.

The motive for the crime, according to current investigations, is thought to be "within the family sphere." The inquiries into the specific circumstances and the progression of the events are ongoing, said Senior Public Prosecutor Burggraf.

The weapon was discovered in a wooded area

Burggraf described the alleged sequence of events: the 34-year-old initially shot his wife in the head with a pistol in their shared apartment in a multi-unit house on Saturday. She was seriously injured. Then he fired upstairs at a door, causing no harm. Subsequently, he drove to a nearby hair salon and shot more rounds. The two men and the 23-year-old woman were hurt.

The police disclosed that they found the suspected murder weapon. The pistol was located, as per the suspect's disclosure during his apprehension, in a wooded area behind a tree. Following the crime, the man drove his car to a nearby parking lot and escaped on foot. During their search for him, a helicopter was also used on Saturday.

The police declared they had received continual tips from citizens and investigated them. One such tip led to the apprehension of the 34-year-old in a rural area just a few kilometers away from the crime scenes. He surrendered effortlessly, as reported on Sunday.
