The "Celebration of Diversity" commenced on Friday to honor the 650th anniversary of Solingen city and was scheduled to continue until Sunday. The announcement stated: "Solingen Mitte will transform into the main festival hub: From Neumarkt via Fronhof to Mühlenplatz, there will be a series of events."
