- US releases more military aid to Ukraine

The U.S. is providing Ukraine with an additional $125 million (around €114 million) in military aid to defend against Russia's invasion. This package includes "anti-aircraft missiles, ammunition for rocket systems and artillery, multi-purpose radars, and anti-tank weapons," U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced. This is the tenth such package. In recent months, the U.S. has delivered several tranches of aid following the U.S. Congress' approval of around $61 billion (€56.2 billion) for Kyiv in late April.

The international community has been criticizing Russia's actions, labeling its invasion of Ukraine as a clear example of a war of aggression. The United Nations Security Council has failed to issue a binding resolution condemning Russia due to vetoes by China and Russia themselves.
