Protests - Unregistered Pro-Palestine demonstration on Sonnenallee
Late on Thursday evening, a unsanctioned Palatinate demonstration took place on Sonnenallee in Cologne. According to the police, around one hundred people gathered there. Pyrotechnics were set off and trash cans were set on fire. Further information is currently unknown.
The unrest in Cologne seemed to spur similar criminal activities, as there were reports of property damage and conflicts during an unsanctioned demonstration in Berlin the following night. The authorities were forced to intervene due to escalating tensions and instances of violence.
