Unfortunate casualties and injuries reported following an accident on Leverkusen's A1 bridge.
During the construction process of the Leverkusen A1 Rhine Bridge, a unfortunate incident took place. The collapse of certain parts led to the unfortunate demise of one individual and left six others with injuries. Some of these injuries were quite severe.
Emergency services responded immediately, and their presence was substantial. As per WDR's reports, a rescue helicopter was also called into action. Fortunately, traffic on the newly constructed Leverkusen A1 Bridge hasn't been significantly impacted.

Despite the setback from the construction work, efforts to complete the Leverkusen A1 Bridge continue. Further inspection and necessary repairs on the affected parts of the bridge are now a priority.
