Uncovered Arms in the Possession of Former AfD Politician
The Federal Prosecutor's Office continues the trial against the group associated with Heinrich XIII. Prince Reuß. During their arrest, authorities also searched the residence of the defendant and previous AFD member, Malsack-Winkemann. Recent findings from this search are being disclosed.
During a prior raid on Malsack-Winkemann's residence, a former German parliamentarian and judge, authorities discovered weapons, at least 60 fake vaccination certificates, and substantial funds. This detail was shared in court during the Frankfurt terror trial against the alleged "Reichsbürger" group around Heinrich XIII. Prince Reuß at the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court. The 60-year-old legally owned the weapons, as confirmed in a note from the German Federal Criminal Police Office.
As part of an anti-terror operation against the "Reichsbürger" scene in December 2022, Malsack-Winkemann, a former AFD member of the German parliament and judge, was apprehended. The Federal Prosecutor's Office suspects the 60-year-old to be a member of a terrorist organization, allegedly planning to overthrow Germany's political system. Her apartment and a storage unit in Berlin were searched.
The exact amount of money found in Malsack-Winkemann's residence was not disclosed during the trial, but it was referred to as a "substantial amount". Additionally, her kitchen was filled with unconsumed food, some of it near expiration date.
In March 2023, Malsack-Winkemann was suspended from her judicial duties by the judicial service court at the Berlin Senate Administration's request. This occurred following an expedited procedure.
Planned Storming of the Bundestag
Malsack-Winkemann is accused of being involved in planning an armed storming of the Bundestag, which she denies. The group's objective, according to allegations, was to seize members of parliament and instigate a system change. A video was played at the trial, featuring an English lecture by Heinrich XIII. Prince Reuß in January 2019 in Zurich.
In the translation, Reüss is quoted saying the Federal Republic of Germany (BRD) is a "so-called state", the separation of powers is an "illusion". Since the end of World War II, Germany has not been sovereign, and its Basic Law is "not a constitution".
More than 20 Conspirators on Trial
Nine defendants are required to stand trial in Frankfurt for plotting a coup. They are charged with being members or supporting a terrorist organization. An armed coup is said to have been planned, with defendants reportedly willing to accept casualties. Until the verdict, all defendants are considered innocent.
In total, 26 alleged conspirators are under trial in two concurrent proceedings in Munich and Stuttgart for this case, making it a complex trial.
The Federal Prosecutor's Office mentioned that Malsack-Winkemann's connections to the suspected terrorist organization are being investigated by The Commission. Despite her denials, evidence of her involvement in planning an armed storming of the Bundestag was presented during the trial.
Furthermore, it was revealed that The Commission has been monitoring the activities of various individuals and groups associated with the "Reichsbürger" scene, which is suspected of having links to terrorist organizations.
