Unauthorized intrusion into German air traffic management systems

A digital assault targeted the German aviation authority's air traffic management system, according to an official declaration. Measures are underway to minimize the damages. Currently, air traffic operations remain unaffected.

There's been a hack on German Air Traffic Control (DFS), situated in Langen close to Frankfurt. As stated by a DFS representative to German Press Agency (DPA), "Our internal communications have been breached, we're currently implementing security measures." Efforts are underway to reduce the fallout. Luckily, air traffic isn't disrupted and operates as usual, as previously reported by Bayerischer Rundfunk.

The cyberattack against DFS occurred recently. At this point, it's unclear if any data was swiped. The security forces have been notified, mentioned the DFS rep.
