Ukrainian storm brigade soldiers tour through Germany

Members of the third Storm Brigade of Ukraine are traveling as part of a European tour to recruit for the unit. According to the brigade's press service on Facebook, soldiers of the unit will visit, among other places, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Berlin, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Brussels, Prague, and Vilnius. The first informational event is scheduled for July 21 in Poland's capital, Warsaw. On July 25 and 26, the soldiers will appear in Berlin and Hamburg.
"Come to meetings with the real fighters of the brigade, who were in the battles in Bachmut, Avdiivka, and the Charkiv region," the announcement says. "They will tell you uncensored everything about their service and the epic stories from the front. You can ask everything you have long wanted to know." All events will reportedly be held in Ukrainian. The admission fee is between 15 and 20 Euros and is said to benefit the brigade.
The third Storm Brigade is a regular volunteer unit of the Ukrainian army and is known for being an elite unit. Last summer, the brigade, which was founded in 2022, played a prominent role in the counteroffensive in the Bachmut area. After the fall of Avdiivka in mid-February, they covered the retreat of the Ukrainian defenders. Elements of the unit are currently also fighting in the Charkiv region.
