Ukraine's military reports dismantling Russian air defense systems in Crimea.

Ukraine's forces supposedly hit Russian-occupied Crimea with air strikes, says the Ukrainian military. Targets included anti-aircraft installments around Belbek military airport near Sevastopol. The army's Facebook post on Wednesday listed destroyed radar stations and exploded ammunition depots. Evidence wasn't provided.

Moscow's authority in the port city, Mikhail Razvozhaev, stated earlier Ukrainian rockets hit their marks, both on land and sea. English translation: "All objects are still in flight."

The Ukrainian army has been going after Russia's air protection around Crimea for weeks. Using drones, short-range rockets, and cruise missiles, their successful attacks are periodically photographed and satellite imaged.

Ukraine's been fighting Russian incursions for over two years. The Crimean Peninsula (anointed by Russia in 2014) is just one of several regions Russia holds. About 20% of Ukrainian land is controlled by Russia.
