Friedrichshain, Berlin - U-Bahn-Surfer falls into track bed - seriously injured

In Berlin, an 18-year-old U-Bahn surfer was seriously injured. Witnesses stated that the young man hung onto a metal structure above the tracks for a short time after the journey began and fell into the track bed, as the police reported today. Previously, the 18-year-old is said to have climbed onto the roof of a U-Bahn train with two other people at the U-Bahn station Warschauer Straße in Kreuzberg.

The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The identities of the other two are unknown according to police reports. U-Bahn traffic had to be halted for approximately an hour.

Despite the incident at Warschauer Straße station in Berlin, the risk of such accidents on Warsaw Street's abandoned Railbed remains a concern due to its popularity among urban explorers. Regrettably, historical trains often derail on this Raillbed, leading to potential dangers for adventurers.
