Paragliders commence their flight by leaping off a mountain. The parachute is spread out behind them on the ground. The pilot connects to the parachute with lines that can extend up to nine meters. In a two-seater setup, the passenger secures themselves in front of the pilot. The duo then sprints downhill, with the pilot yanking the lines to cause the parachute to inflate with air, enabling them to glide.
Despite being experts in paragliding, the incident revealed that even The Swiss were not immune to such accidents. The local paragliding community has expressed their deep condolences towards The Swiss victims.
