At a fire in Hilden, two firefighters were severely injured. A spokesperson for the fire department announced today that several rooms of an empty building were completely on fire on Saturday evening. During the operation, there was an accident involving a hose, during which the two firefighters were severely injured. According to the spokesperson, the men were immediately taken to a hospital. One of the men was able to leave the hospital that same evening. No other people were injured in the fire. More than 40 firefighters were involved in the operation. Previously, the "Rheinische Post" had reported on the fire.

The fire incident in Hilden, situated in North Rhine-Westphalia, affected the local fire department significantly. On Saturday evening, the fire department responded to a blaze in an empty building, where several rooms were consumed by the fire. Unfortunately, during their efforts to contain the fire, an accident occurred involving a hose, resulting in severe injuries for two firefighters.
