Two fatalities and eleven people hurt following blasts in a Swiss garage.

Two people lost their lives in an explosion and fire incident at a basement garage in a Swiss building. Their bodies were found in the garage. There are also eleven people with minor injuries.

The Aargau Canton Police reported on a Friday that they currently believe this incident to be an accident rather than a crime. A police spokesperson informed the German Press Agency that the cause of the explosions at a residential building in Nussbaumen on Thursday evening is still unknown.

When the police, fire department, and rescue services arrived, a fire had already spread over several floors. Over 100 residents from six interconnected high-rise buildings were safely evacuated.

The police mentioned, "The situation is chaotic, and the building and the parked vehicles in the garage have sustained significant damage." Some parts of the building are now in danger of collapsing. The fire was extinguished late at night.

During the firefighting efforts, three helicopters were utilized. However, their flights were hindered by drones, and the police requested that the public bring the small flying devices back to the ground as soon as possible.
