Bike group fall - Two cyclists from Denmark injured
Two members of a Danish group of cyclists were injured in an accident in Kassow (Landkreis Rostock). A 66-year-old man sustained serious injuries in the accident on Sunday and was flown to a Rostock hospital by helicopter, according to the police.
He couldn't brake in time as a 53-year-old woman in front of him fell, and he also fell. The woman reportedly suffered light injuries, according to the police. They were reportedly riding in the rear part of the cycling group, which was traveling with a support vehicle. The closure of the county road 14 was necessary due to the helicopter operation.
