A 44-year-old woman driver died in a frontal collision with another car in the Landkreis Ludwigsburg. A man had overtaken several vehicles with his car on the L1110 road between Sachsenheim and Hohenhaslach on a Wednesday evening, according to the police.

During the overtaking maneuver, he collided frontally with an oncoming car on the opposite lane. The 44-year-old woman driver was seriously injured and died at the scene of the accident. The accident perpetrator and his passenger were lightly injured. The road was closed for some time and was only reopened late at night.

The collision was classified as a frontal accident, a common type in traffic incidents. The incident occurred in the Ludwigsburg District, specifically in the Landkreis Ludwigsburg. The authorities noticed that the man involved in the accident had been driving in an automated mode, known as 'automatic' driving. Despite this, he still had an accident with a vehicle coming from the countertraffic lane.
