Twelve people have been injured in a collision between a car and a trolleybus in Eberswalde (Landkreis Barnim). Three of them sustained serious injuries, according to the police. Police and emergency services were present at the scene with a large contingent in the morning. The three seriously injured individuals, aged 27, 56, and 61, as well as some of the lightly injured, were taken to hospitals. Others went to see a doctor on their own.

The ages of the injured ranged from 14 to 61 years old. Whether the driver of the car was among the injured, according to a spokesperson, is not known.

The police sealed off the area for approximately one and a half hours. The estimated damage is around 15,000 Euros. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.

The collision happened in the Barnim District's town of Eberswalde. The accident involved an automobile and a trolleybus, leading to numerous injuries. The Police are still investigating the cause of the traffic incident. The severely injured individuals were transported to various hospitals in the region of Brandenburg. Despite the accident, some of the lightly injured chose to visit their doctors privately.
