The unexpected passing of British TV host Michael Mosley has stunned both his family and numerous fans. Currently, investigators are analyzing his remains, and it's likely that he perished shortly after his disappearance.

Recently, British television personality and writer Michael Mosley vanished during a stroll on the Greek island of Symi. Four days later, his remains were located in a rocky region. Initial postmortem reports shared by the BBC, citing Greek authorities, suggest he passed away due to natural causes.

Greek police spokesperson Konstantia Dimoglidou revealed that during the primary autopsy, no damage to his body was observed that could have resulted in his demise. Mosley was predicted to have died on Wednesday at approximately 4 p.m., coinciding with his disappearance. The 67-year-old father of four disapperared from Agios Nikolaos beach around 1:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday to go for a walk.

Footage from a surveillance camera captured Mosley running down a slope and then vanishing within the confines of a wall. Subsequently, his body was detected close by. A police spokesperson stated the remains were discovered on a rocky cliff by a private ship.

"Took a wrong turn"

In spite of the intense heat on the island, the Greek authorities meticulously pursued a search mission for Mosley. Clare Bailey Mosley, his wife, conveyed appreciation to the Symi inhabitants for their unrelenting endeavors to locate her husband.

Lefteris Papakalodoukas, Symi's mayor, indicated that Mosley allegedly slid down a high incline, struck a fence, and ended up lying face up on some rocks. In the statement from Mosley's wife, it was conveyed that her husband had unintentionally deviated during a hike and tumbled in a secluded, obscure area.

Mosley was holidaying with his wife on Symi. In the UK, he is recognized for his regular television and radio engagements and his newspaper column in the "Daily Mail." Together with journalist Mimi Spencer, he co-wrote the 2013 book "The Fast Diet" and received acclaim for other weight loss recommendations. He also attempted self-experiments, including residing with tapeworms in his intestines for six weeks.
