Trump will end several international crises
Trump wants to end not only the war in Ukraine if he becomes US President again, but all conflicts caused by the Biden administration. In a phone call with the Ukrainian president, they took two more steps towards this.
US Presidential candidate Donald Trump has announced in his Online network Truth Social that he spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and, upon his return to the White House, would end the war in Ukraine. "I am grateful to President Zelenskyy for reaching out to me, because as your next President of the United States I will bring peace to the world and end the war that has cost so many lives and destroyed countless innocent families," Trump declared.
Zelenskyy congratulated Trump on his presidential candidacy and condemned the attack on him. "I wished him strength and security for the future," said Zelenskyy. "Ukraine will always be grateful to the United States for their help in strengthening our ability to resist Russian terror," he said. "Russian attacks on our cities and villages continue every day. We have agreed with President Trump to discuss at a personal meeting what steps can lead to a fair and truly lasting peace."
Trump had already announced during a speech at the Republican Party convention, where he formally accepted his nomination as presidential candidate, that he would end every international crisis caused by the current administration, including the terrible war with Russia and Ukraine.
A Trump victory in the US presidential election in November could put Washington's support for Ukraine in question. Trump's announcements that he would end the war very quickly if elected could mean that Kiev would be forced into negotiations with Moscow from a weakened position.
Donald Trump's declaration to end the war in Ukraine, should he return as US President, was affirmed in a call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In this conversation, they also discussed potential steps towards a fair and lasting peace, amidst Russia's continuous attacks on Ukrainian cities and villages.
