Trump performs on "Titanic" song - Céline Dion is outraged

While Kamala Harris is campaigning to Beyoncé's empowerment hit "Freedom", Donald Trump is using the "Titanic" classic "My Heart Will Go On". Unlike his Democratic rival, however, the Republican has drawn the ire of the singer. Canadian singer Céline Dion has prohibited the use of her mega-hit "My Heart Will Go On" at a Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign event in the state of Montana. The use of the title song from the 1997 blockbuster "Titanic", along with a video, was "in no way" authorized, Dion's management and record label Sony Music Entertainment explained on Twitter. Dion does not endorse this or any similar use. "And really, this song?" the statement added, referring to the iconic ballad from the Oscar-winning film about the legendary ship's sinking. Some online users are already drawing parallels between Trump's campaign and the sinking ocean liner. While Trump remains ahead in national polls, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is currently leading her Republican challenger in three crucial states, according to recent polls. In polls by The New York Times and Siena College, Harris has 50% support in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, while Trump has 46%. These three populous Midwestern states are key to winning the presidential election on November 5th. Democrats are finding encouragement in the enthusiasm generated by Harris' candidacy, with many expressing relief that the 81-year-old incumbent Joe Biden is no longer in the race for the White House. The enthusiasm for Harris and her running mate Tim Walz has slowed the growing support for Trump, which he had enjoyed after the attack on him on July 13th and the Republican National Convention.

The Republicans, led by Donald Trump, are facing criticism from singer Céline Dion due to the unauthorized use of her song "My Heart Will Go On" in his campaign. Meanwhile, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is gaining momentum, leading Trump in polls in three crucial states: Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
