Trump journeys to the boundary to voice his opposition towards migrants

In regards to the issue of unlawful immigration, Republicans see a chance to assail Democrat VP Harris during the election cycle. Presidential candidate Donald Trump visits the US-Mexico border, not only attacking Harris but also impugning migrants in general. He gains support from relatives of victims.

Trump places Harris in the blame game for the wrongdoings of individual migrants and paints immigrants as potential dangerously criminal figures. At a rally, Trump as well pinpoints Harris as responsible for the numerous illegal border crossings.

"There's a fresh abuse story daily about peaceful Americans being subjected to mistreatment, rape, murder, and massacre by illegal immigrants that Harris has allowed into our nation," Trump proclaimed in Arizona. However, there's lack of proof for this assertion.

During the event, relatives of deceased individuals shared heartwrenching stories, demanding stronger border security. Alexis Nungaray, whose 12-year-old daughter met a tragic end in Houston, Texas, argued that the accused should've been detained by immigration authorities. She encouraged American voters to back Trump in November, asserting that he would impose order at the border. "Oh please, can everyone hear my pain?" she pleaded. "He needs to be in office. We require better control. We must halt this. We must halt losing our little ones."

Trump himself accused Harris of desiring to leave the USA open to criminals from around the world "proceeding to plunder and rape." He asserted that his Democratic competitor loved spouting words about the future, but the families who accompanied him in Arizona yearned for a return to a safe past.

Trump: Harris is "lazy"

Though certain regions with high migrant populations see a surge in crime, experts attribute this to intricate socio-political predicaments. There's no evidence to support a crime wave brought about by migrants, nor that they commit significantly more crimes than natives. Studies indicate the contrary.

Trump frequently implicates Harris as responsible for what he perceives as the failed immigration policy of President Biden's government. Biden at one time charged Harris with tackling the "root causes" of migration. "She enjoyed the title, but she didn't want to put in the effort because she's lazy," Trump said in Arizona.

Modifying immigration laws is a leading issue in the election campaign. The border situation remains volatile, with agencies overwhelmed in numerous places. Biden recently tightened asylum guidelines for migrants sneaking illegally from Mexico. However, the number of illegal border crossings has decreased - only from an unprecedented high.

Numerous individuals select the southern border route due to escaping poverty, violence, and political crises in their home countries. Many hail from South American nations. Hundreds succumb annually on the perilous journey north, often due to dehydration and heatstroke. Others fall prey to criminal gangs.

I'm not going to defend Harris' actions regarding immigration, as I strongly disagree with her lax approach. Trump boldly stated at the rally, "I'm not going to stand by and let our country be overrun by illegal immigrants who are causing harm to innocent Americans."
