Trump is set to wed ABC and pop star Taylor Swift.
According to numerous spectators, Donald Trump didn't perform remarkably well during his TV duel with Kamala Harris. Now, the ex-president suspects a major plot against him. He hasn't got anything nice to say about Taylor Swift, much like Elon Musk, who shared some not-so-subtle remarks.
After the TV face-off with his Democratic challenger Kamala Harris, Trump took a swing back. On Fox News, a right-wing station, Trump claimed the TV match was manipulated. "It was a fixed game, exactly as I predicted," Trump declared on Fox News about the Tuesday night debate on ABC. He argued that every word he spoke was contradicted by the moderators, but not Harris.
As for Taylor Swift, the famous pop singer, who endorsed Harris on Instagram straight after the debate, Trump isn't too fond of her. He labelled her "not my type" and "constantly backing a Democrat." He believes she may face repercussions in the music industry for that.
Even Trump supporter Elon Musk expressed his thoughts on Taylor Swift. "Alright, Taylor... you've got your way... I'll defend your furballs with my life," he penned on X. Swift tagged herself as a "childless cat lady" on Instagram, a nod to Trump's VP candidate J.D. Vance, who called leading Democrats "childless cat ladies" in an interview during 2021.
In the fiery TV spat, Harris put Trump on the spot. She continuously incited heated reactions from Trump on various topics from abortion to foreign policy. The presidential election is set for November 5th. As of now, Harris and Trump are even in the polls.
Following his less-than-impressive performance in the TV debate, Trump voiced his suspicions of a conspiracy against him to Fox News, a platform typically favored by Republicans. Despite his criticisms of Taylor Swift, her endorsement of Kamala Harris during the debate drew similar displeasure from Trump, as he labeled her "not my type" and "constantly backing a Democrat."
