A S-Bahn was evacuated in Remchingen (Enzkreis) because a tree fell onto the overhead wire. Forty-four people were rescued from the train, as a spokesperson for the Federal Police stated today. The affected stretch between Karlsruhe and Pforzheim was closed in both directions. The power was cut off and the overhead wire was earthed. No one was injured during the incident on Wednesday.
