Tragic three-fatality crash reported in Brandenburg

On a fateful Wednesday evening in Brandenburg, a tragic incident unfolded on Autobahn 24 in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district. A 59-year-old driver, attempting to overtake another vehicle, lost control of his speeding car.

The driver's reckless move near the village of Herzsprung led to a devastating accident, claiming the lives of three individuals. The passengers, aged 47 and 19, suffered such severe injuries that they perished before the emergency services could reach the scene.

The vehicle, traveling at an apparent high speed, veered off the road and collided with two trees, coming to an abrupt halt. The accident resulted in the temporary closure of the Autobahn heading towards Berlin for about four and a half hours.

Fortunately, the leading vehicle with the trailer managed to avoid the accident. As there is no speed limit in that area, an expert will be needed to determine the speed at which the unfortunate trio had been traveling.

This incident serves as a grim reminder of the dangers of reckless driving and the importance of adhering to safety rules on the road.
