Clark, who made her WNBA debut this year with great fanfare and expectations after her remarkable college basketball career, has been a major draw for the league due to her on-court presence, helping to sell out arenas and break viewership records. At the moment, she ranks 16th in scoring with 16.3 points per game and third in assists with 6.2 per game.

Her team, the Indiana Fever, had a rocky start to the season with an 0-8 stretch, but managed to notch their fourth consecutive win on Friday, triumphing over the Atlanta Dream 91-79 in front of a record crowd of 17,575 at the State Farm Arena. The USA Basketball Women's National Team All-Stars will square off against a fan, coach, player, and media-voted WNBA All-Star team.

Once the voting concludes, the top 10 players yet to be selected for the USA team will join the WNBA All-Star team. The final spots in the 12-player roster will then be filled by the 12 WNBA head coaches, who cannot vote for their own players, from the next 36 highest vote-getters.
