Thousands are expected to head to the techno festival "Nature One" in the Hunsrück this weekend. The weather, however, isn't cooperating - at least for the journey.

- Too much rain: travel to Nature One campsite stopped

Heavy rainfall has made it impossible for campers to reach the Nature One techno festival in the Hunsrück region. The organizer announced on Friday morning that no further access to the campsite is possible. "The areas are too wet, and the access roads cannot be sufficiently repaired even with bulldozers and gravel in the short term."

"It breaks our hearts, but in the 29th year, we have to give in to the weather for the first time regarding further camping access," said Oliver Vordemvenne from the organizer I-Motion in the statement. However, access to the actual festival is not affected.

On the festival's Instagram page, the organizer writes that the last vehicles on site are still being brought onto the areas. Those who cannot reach Nature One due to the stop will receive a full refund for their festival and camping tickets.

The techno festival is taking place this weekend at the former US rocket station Pydna in the Hunsrück region.

Despite the persistent rainfall, the festival grounds at Pydna in the Hunsrück region remain accessible for the Nature One techno festival. Regrettably, the heavy rainfall has prevented campers from reaching the campsite.
