In Germany, cooler temperatures are spreading. During Tuesday, showery rain areas and some thunderstorms form, which then move towards the eastern part of Germany in the evening. "There are also individual unsettled developments with heavy rain, hail, and strong gusts not excluded during Tuesday afternoon and evening," says meteorologist Sebastian Schappert from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. The highest temperatures are still rising in the east up to 29 degrees. In the northwest, it remains cooler with temperatures between 21 and 24 degrees.

Stormy rain and thunder are also expected at night towards Wednesday. Otherwise, it relaxes and can be well ventilated with temperatures between 16 and 10 degrees.

After thunderstorms at the beginning of the week: More sunshine on Wednesday

The DWD then expects predominantly dry weather with pleasant temperatures of 20 to 26 degrees for Wednesday. In the east and southeast, a few more clouds and some showers may form at the beginning of the day, while rain is rather the exception in other regions and the sun shows itself a bit more. In the night towards Thursday, it remains mostly clear and dry. Only along the Baltic Sea coast can it rain occasionally. It gets cold down to 13 to 8 degrees.
