Three women killed near London - perpetrators on the run

In the British town of Bushey, there is a serious violent crime incident: During a raid on a house, the police find three severely injured women - all victims died at the scene. The apparently armed suspect is still at large.

Three women have become victims of a violent crime in the UK. They were severely injured on a Tuesday evening in Bushey, north of London, and died shortly thereafter at the scene, the Hertfordshire Police announced. The women were aged 25, 28, and 61.

The police believe this was a targeted attack and are looking for a 26-year-old suspect. He may still be in possession of a weapon - possibly a crossbow - warned investigators. They asked witnesses to come forward with tips and cautioned against approaching the man if spotted. A police officer appealed to the suspect in a press conference broadcast on television.

Besides the crossbow, other weapons may have been used, said Chief Superintendent Jon Simpson. The investigators were called to a house in the town of Bushey on Tuesday evening and found the women there. A neighbor reported to the British Press Association that he had heard screams. After that, chaos ensued, and the investigators blocked the street.

According to the "Daily Telegraph," the deceased are believed to be the two daughters and the wife of a well-known sports presenter. The reporter found his family severely injured when he returned home. The further background of the case is unclear at this time. "This is an incredibly serious incident for the family of the victims, and we ask that their privacy be respected as they come to terms with what has happened," said Detective Superintendent Rob Hall.

The violent crime in Bushey has attracted international attention, with media outlets worldwide reporting on the incident. Despite being located in Great Britain, this case of murder and manslaughter in London is a stark reminder of the prevalence of crime in many parts of the world.

Following the incident, the Metropolitan Police, being the police force responsible for policing London, have offered their support to the Hertfordshire Police in their investigation of the crime in Bushey.
