Special public transport offer - The Summer Holiday Ticket SH is here

In the summer holidays, children and young people in Schleswig-Holstein can travel particularly cheaply by bus and train. For 44 Euro, all young people who were born in or after the year 2005 can now purchase a summer holiday ticket, as announced by NSH Nahverkehr Schleswig-Holstein GmbH.

This allows them to use the entire public transport in Schleswig-Holstein and as far as Hamburg for six weeks, until September 1st, for an unlimited number of journeys.

The ticket is available at ticket machines and sales outlets, except outside of Kiel, Flensburg and Neumünster also on the bus. For journeys with the Kiel Fjord Shipping and within Hamburg at the Hamburg Transport Association (HVV), there are reduced supplementary tickets.

Furthermore, holders of the summer holiday ticket reportedly receive numerous other benefits. At around 40 partners, including zoos, swimming pools and museums, the entrance fee is reduced or free for them.

During their summer vacation, children in Schleswig-Holstein can enjoy leisure activities with the convenience of affordable public transportation. This reduced traffic on the roads might result in smoother journeys for society as a whole. Moreover, the summer holiday ticket is valid not only in Schleswig-Holstein but also extends to the city of Hamburg, providing a wonderful opportunity for excursions.
