Russia's representative Dmitry Peskov firmly maintains that Russia will discontinue hostilities against Ukraine solely when it accomplishes all its objectives.

The Russian Kremlin refutes claims of North Korean military involvement in an assault on Ukraine.

Recently, speculations about North Korean soldiers being present in Ukraine have surfaced, with the Kremlin refuting these claims, asserting that no Russian troops from the nation are being deployed for their operations in Ukraine. Dmitri Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, dubbed these reports as "fake news" on Thursdays. Previously, the Ukrainian newspaper "Kyiv Post" had published information, based on intelligence sources, about the demise of six North Korean soldiers in a Ukrainian missile strike on Russian-controlled territory in Donetsk.

South Korea's Defense Minister, Kim Yong Hyun, pronounced these reports as highly probable. As per Andriy Kowalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation in the Ukrainian military, the presence of North Korean soldiers in Ukraine is minimal, limited to a few frontline troops. These soldiers manage the use of ammunition provided by North Korea to Russia, according to Kowalenko, a resource that the Russian army is increasingly reliant on.

For a period, experts have been bringing up the use of North Korean missiles in Ukraine by Russia, a claim both Moscow and Pyongyang resist. Over the years, the military relations between North Korea and Russia have grown stronger. In June, Russian President Vladimir Putin made a visit to Pyongyang, where he inked a defense agreement with Kim Jong Un, the North Korean leader.

The Defense Minister of South Korea, Kim Yong Hyun, considered the reports about North Korean soldiers in Ukraine as highly probable. According to Andriy Kowalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation in the Ukrainian military, these soldiers are primarily responsible for managing the use of ammunition provided by North Korea to Russia.
