Corona vaccination - The Regional Court dismisses the lawsuit against the vaccine manufacturer

The Magdeburg Regional Court dismissed the claim of a man from the Salzlandkreis regarding suspected vaccine damages. The connection between the Corona vaccination and the health issues of the plaintiff could not be convincingly proven, according to a court spokeswoman. The time period between vaccination and illness was approximately two years, and the man had a pre-existing heart condition. The 59-year-old man claimed to have suffered a heart attack as a result of the vaccination and demanded compensation of 50,000 Euro from the vaccine manufacturer.

The plaintiff's lawyer, Marco Rogert, was not surprised by the decision. The court had made it clear from the outset that success was unlikely. The law firm in Düsseldorf currently represents, according to their own statements, around 500 lawsuits against vaccine manufacturers. The hopes lie in later trials, in which the courts will deal more intensively with the cases. In Saxony-Anhalt, only a few vaccine damages have been officially recognized.

  1. The dismissal of the case in Saxony-Anhalt's Magdeburg District Court was related to a man from the Salteland District, who claimed vaccine damages due to Coronavirus vaccination.
  2. Although the man had a pre-existing heart condition, the Justice System, specifically the District Court Magdeburg, could not establish a clear correlation between his health issues and the Corona vaccination.
  3. Regarding the vaccination injury case, the Judge Speaker of the District Court stated that the time gap between vaccination and illness, being approximately two years, made it challenging to convincingly establish the causality.
  4. Despite the dismissal, lawyer Marco Rogert, representing the Salzlandkreis man, is handling a significant number of similar cases in the District Court, as his law firm in Düsseldorf is currently engaged with around 500 lawsuits against vaccine manufacturers.
  5. Notably, while the District Court in Saxony-Anhalt has recognized only a few Coronavirus vaccine damages officially, the overall approach may evolve as more cases are deliberated in future trials.
