Xbox had put together a jam-packed presentation.

The gaming world is buzzing with excitement as Microsoft teases us with a sneak peek into the future of video games, hoping to create anticipation for the coming months. Their main emphasis is on the vast collection of games available through their monthly subscription service for Xbox, Game Pass. As they begin to reap the benefits of acquiring developer studios like Activision Blizzard and Bethesda, some incredible titles are being showcased. Smaller studios are also contributing to this remarkable lineup. However, there is a slight drawback: some fan favorites are not expected to be released until next year.

"Call of Duty" is one of the games that are quickly approaching. It delivers a new campaign with "Black Ops 6," set in the 1990s following the fall of the Soviet Union. This first-person shooter promises an "epic spy thriller," filled with special forces, wild firefights, and, of course, explosive action. After viewing the trailer and the ensuing deep dive, fans are easily getting excited as the game is scheduled for release on October 25.

Another title that has made heads turn is "Doom: The Dark Ages." This hard-hitting first-person shooter transports players to a medieval realm, complete with monsters, demons, and weapon upgrades. Although it's being developed for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, it won't be available until 2025.

The event then shifted focus to shooters, which were quickly succeeded by action-adventure games. "South of Midnight" managed to stand out among the others. Aside from cinema-style in-game scenes, the first gameplay clips of this third-person game were unveiled. The protagonist battles her way through swampy landscapes, facing magical alligators and eels. This title will be available on the Xbox Series X | S and PC as part of the Xbox Game Pass, and it's set for release next year.

For the first time in a long while, new scenes from "Fable" were displayed with enjoyable gameplay snippets. This whimsical fantasy adventure is scheduled to hit shelves in 2025. This lighthearted gem is expected to make its mark in the action-adventure genre, thanks to its witty staging and quirky characters such as giant toads.

Similar to the excitement generated by "Indiana Jones," enthusiasts also can't help but feel anticipation for the upcoming release of "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle." The much-awaited game is expected to grace the Xbox consoles this year and delivers the same thrilling action and witty remarks as the iconic explorer. Gameplay scenes, which were mostly set from the first-person perspective, showcased a young, virtual Harrison Ford as "Indy," but cutscenes featured the classic icon.

Microsoft has been actively working on interesting expansions for existing titles. "World of Warcraft" will have an addition called "The War Within" on August 26th. "Starfield" is set to introduce "Shattered Space," providing more content for players this year. "Fallout 76" and "Diablo IV" are also anticipated to receive worthy add-ons.

These constant improvements and additions to popular games are ensuring that fans remain engaged and looking forward to the next big release. The gaming community is eagerly awaiting more updates from Xbox as they strive to expand their already impressive portfolio.

With the acquisition of developer studios, Xbox's Game Pass continues to grow, offering a diverse collection of video games, including "Gears of War 5" and "Halo Infinite," which can be played on Xbox platforms.
