Union Berlin's new signing Ivan Prtajin is not afraid of the competition with his new Bundesliga colleagues. "The biggest difference from my former club is the higher quality of individual players. When you have better teammates, it's also harder for you. But I believe in myself. I am very positive," said the striker during Union Berlin's training camp in Austria's Langenfeld.

The presence of other classic strikers in Union Berlin's squad, including new signing Chris Bedia and returnee Jordan Siebatcheu, does not worry Prtajin. "This is a big club with strong competition. That's normal and makes me even better," said the Croatian, who joined Union Berlin from Second League relegated Wehen Wiesbaden.

Prtajin: A complete player

Union Berlin hopes to score many goals from their new striker after a season with a consistently weak offensive performance. "I had several offers, but Union was the best option for me. I am now 28 years old and mentally and physically complete. I think I can help the team," Prtajin concluded.

Union Berlin's team, under the guidance of trainer Bo Svensson, will prepare for the Bundesliga season until July 19th in Tirol. Alex Kral, who missed the start due to a private engagement, has been with the team since Sunday. On Thursday (7:00 PM CET), the only test game of the Berliners in the training camp against Dynamo Kiev takes place in Kematen.

  1. Prtajin mentioned that he's looking forward to the intense football competition in the Bundesliga, having noticed the high quality of individual players compared to his previous club.
  2. During Union Berlin's training camp in Austria, Prtajin expressed his excitement about joining a big club with strong competition, which, he believes, will help him improve as a player.
  3. Despite the presence of other experienced strikers in Union Berlin's squad, such as Chris Bedia and Jordan Siebatcheu, Prtajin remains confident and sees this as an opportunity to grow and contribute to the team's success in the Football Bundesliga.
  4. As part of their preparation for the upcoming Bundesliga season, Union Berlin will participate in a crayfish festival in Berlin, providing a chance for the new signing and his teammates to bond and strengthen their team spirit before the start of the competitive season.
