The Ampel coalition may need to fundamentally renegotiate their hard-won compromise on the 2025 federal budget. Two scientific assessments of planned projects have indicated that "further discussions within the federal government and within the framework of parliamentary deliberations are necessary," the Federal Ministry of Finance said.

The Ampel coalition might find it necessary to revise their financial strategies within the 2025 federal budget due to budgetary considerations. In light of the need for further government discussions and parliamentary deliberations, the approval process for some planned projects may require budgetary adjustments.
