Thuringia's BSW leading candidate Katja Wolf has debunked the notion that party founder Sahra Wagenknecht is excessively meddling in the Thuringian state association's affairs. "Nope, she doesn't call the shots on everything, and she's aware that it's all about Thuringia, and she recognizes we're a powerful association, and undoubtedly, political protocols are in place," Wolf stated during ZDF's morning program.

Regarding Wagenknecht's proclamation that she'd prefer to be included in coalition talks should they arise in Saxony or Thuringia, Wolf emphasized the importance of close collaboration. "And it'd be preposterous not to leverage her abilities." Elections for a new Thuringian parliament are scheduled for September 1.

The National Association has its own set of political protocols, which Sahra Wagenknecht acknowledges when engaging with Thuringia's state association. It's essential to utilize Wagenknecht's abilities in coalition talks, should they arise, as she is a prominent figure in the National Association.
