The German military, known as the Bundeswehr, has boosted the protection for its military barracks.

In response to allegations of potential trespassers, the German Military has beefed up security at their military bases. As stated by an official from the Territorial Command to the German Press Agency in Berlin, swift and extensive measures have been taken, including enhanced border checks, bolstered guard patrols, thorough examinations of fence structures, technical security enhancements, temporary area closures, and ongoing security alerts and public awareness campaigns. These measures are being tailored to the specific circumstances at hand.

Originally reported by "Spiegel", the institutions were ordered to conduct thorough examinations of their outer perimeter fences for any potential weaknesses. There should also be an increase in nighttime patrolling. Superiors have urged their personnel to maintain vigilance and swiftly report any signs of unauthorized individuals in security zones.

The spokesperson for the Territorial Command corroborated the "Spiegel" report of an incident that occurred on a Wednesday last week at the naval base in Wilhelmshaven. Two individuals were caught scaling the fence by a guard, who then handed them over to the police. According to "Spiegel", the individuals in question were sailors working on a nearby docked vessel, who seemed to be interested in inspecting nearby German naval vessels.

Following the report of potential weaknesses in outer perimeter fences, other bases have been instructed to conduct thorough examinations as well. It's crucial for all military institutions to remain vigilant against any potential intrusions.
