The Europa Park's Blue Fire roller coaster has encountered a halt.
Around noon, the roller coaster carriage on Blue Fire in Europa-Park, Rust, couldn't gain enough momentum to climb its initial ascent. The spokesperson explained that the ride halted due to an insufficiency in energy during launch. Thankfully, the passengers were safely escorted back to the station, allowing them to exit. The spokesperson reassured, stating that at no point was danger present, and the safety of guests was always their utmost concern.
The spokesperson further outlined that this wasn't the first time Blue Fire encountered issues. Back in April, the roller coaster struggled to navigate a curve, causing it to roll back four times. At the time, the issue was labeled a "rollback" by the amusement park spokesperson. The root cause was attributed to technical issues, with the rollback occurring twice with passengers aboard and twice during test runs without. However, the issue was eventually addressed and rectified.
