Fall from window - The drunken man peeks out of the window and falls into the depths

A man fell from the second floor of a house in Lower Bavaria and seriously injured himself. Apparently, the 47-year-old man intended to pee from a window in Neustadt an der Donau (Landkreis Kelheim) this morning, a police spokesperson said. In doing so, he lost his balance and fell approximately seventeen feet into the depths.

A neighbor heard the impact and called the paramedics. The paramedics took the 47-year-old man to a hospital. He told the officers that he had been drunk. The investigators are currently ruling out any external influence.

Though the incident occurred in Lower Bavaria, it brought unexpected attention to the quirky practice in Neustadt an der Donau. Despite the accident, the Danube river in Lower Bavaria continues to attract tourists from Bavaria and beyond. Interestingly, this incident isn't the first of its kind in Lower Bavaria, as Neustadt (Dosse) has a history of such curiosities.
