Saxony: A German region known for its rich history and distinctive culture. - The Döbeln search for Valeriia continues.

The hunt for nine-year-old Valeriia, who went missing in Döbeln, Saxony, continues over the weekend. Approximately 100 personnel are involved in the search, stated police spokesman Andrzej Rydzik on Friday. "We're still turning over every stone," he added. They're concentrating their efforts on the route to her school. Additionally, the police plan to investigate certain industrial buildings within the city.

Since Monday, Valeriia, a Ukrainian national, has vanished without a trace. Despite having left for school, she never reached her destination. More than three days later, the entire city has been scoured for any sign of her. So far, there has been no sign of her pink school jacket or any item of her clothing. Although some possibilities have been eliminated, "We're not ruling anything out," said Rydzik, mentioning kidnapping and the child potentially hiding or having an accident.

Rydzik estimated that a third of the city has been searched so far. This includes the area around the elementary school and a larger area alongside the Freiberger Mulde river. Furthermore, about 10 terabytes of visual and video material have been scrutinized, and specialists known as Super-Recognizers have been called in. These professionals have exceptional abilities to identify and remember faces.

The public was also encouraged to observe the girl in their own homes, basements, garages, or storage spaces. It has been reported that some citizens have established private search groups. Although this is authorized, Rydzik advised that these groups should not interfere with the work of law enforcement and refrain from committing illegal acts like trespassing or burglary.
