Art exhibition - The castle is opening its annual exhibition

The Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle will open its annual exhibition in the evening. The exhibition "Take Off 2024" will be opened first in the People's Park Halle. It will show works by master students. A showcase of the fashion design course is also planned. At the weekend, the castle will then offer a varied look behind the scenes at different locations.

The annual exhibition at the castle is the highlight of the year. During the exhibition weekend, graduates of Bachelor's and Master's programs will also receive their certificates. In addition, the nominations for the "GiebichenStein Design Prize" 2024 will be announced.

Limited Halle souvenirs can be bought on Saturdays and Sundays as part of the exhibition. Students of the Industrial Design course, in collaboration with the city marketing of Saalfeld-Rudolstadt, have developed these souvenirs. For example, a "Nebra Disc" or kitchen utensils can be purchased. The souvenirs focus on the linguistic and geographical peculiarities, customs, and stories of Halle and the region.

The exhibition "Take Off 2024" will be held at the University of the Arts' Burg Giebichenstein, specifically in Halle's People's Park. This annual art exhibition is a significant event at the Mode (Fashion) University of the Arts. Various exhibitions, including that of the Art and Fashion departments, are anticipated during the weekend. Furthermore, visitors can explore the Halle's Grand Hall (Halle) as part of the weekend's events, showcasing diverse aspects of the University.
