However, the Alpine Republic has recently experienced several hacking incidents targeting government websites and organizations associated with the conference. The Swiss Federal Office for Cybersecurity considers these incidents "initial overload attacks," resulting in minimal disruptions. Despite the minor impacts, they are within the allowed tolerance threshold.

The Ukrainian peace conference, occurring in Switzerland after the G7 summit, attracts numerous delegations from different countries and international organizations. It was organized by Ukraine with the hope of securing widespread support for their stipulations to end the war against Russia. Although Moscow had previously expressed disinterest in participating, they were not even invited. The Swiss authorities have not yet identified the culprit behind these recent cyber-attacks.
