SV Sandhausen sign goalkeeper Idjakovic

Third-division soccer club SV Sandhausen has signed goalkeeper Luis Idjakovic as its ninth new signing for the coming season. The 22-year-old comes from regional league club Walldorf.

3rd league - SV Sandhausen sign goalkeeper Idjakovic

Soccer-Third league team SV Sandhausen has signed goalkeeper Luis Idjakovic. The 22-year-old joins from Regional league team FC-Astoria Walldorf, the club announced. The club made no statements regarding the contract duration. For Walldorf, Idjakovic played 62 games in the Regional League Southwest.

"Luis is exactly what we have been looking for in this position: a young goalkeeper with great potential. Goalkeeper coach Daniel Ischdonat will bring him to his performance limit," explained Sandhausen's sports director Matthias Imhof. Idjakovic is already the ninth new signing for the Kurpfälzers for the upcoming season.

In his previous role, Luis Idjakovic was a regular in the goalkeeper position for the Regional League team FC-Astoria Walldorf, based in Walldorf, which is located in Germany's state of Baden-Württemberg. SV Sandhausen, also from Baden-Württemberg and competing in the German 3rd league, have recruited Idjakovic to boost their team. The young goalkeeper has played a total of 62 games in the Regional League Southwest for FC-Astoria Walldorf.
