Weather forecast - Summerlike warm, but changeable and thundery
The new week begins in many parts of Germany with much sun. In the east and south, temperatures are expected to rise to 30 degrees according to the German Weather Service (DWD) on Monday. In the north, however, clouds are on the move and some rain is still expected in the most northern regions.
On Monday evening, strong showers and thunderstorms are forecast in the west and southwest. These may be accompanied by heavy rain, hail, and strong winds, according to the weather service.
Tuesday brings further showers in the north, some of which may be accompanied by lightning and thunder. However, the weather calms down in other parts of the country. In the south, it is expected to be predominantly pleasant after initial showers and brief thunderstorms. "The temperatures are a bit lower, but they still lie in the summer range," explains the DWD. Temperatures of up to 29 degrees are expected in the east.
The weather remains mostly summery and slightly changeable towards the middle of the week. On Wednesday, showers and occasional, sometimes strong thunderstorms are expected at the Alps.
In contrast to the sunny start in many areas of Germany, rain is predicted in the west and southwest on Monday evening, as indicated by the DWD's weather forecast. This unfavorable weather might bring heavy rain, hail, and strong winds to the region. Residents of Offenbach, located in the southwest, should be prepared for these conditions. On Tuesday, although the weather improves in some parts of the country, the south is still expected to experience some showers and brief thunderstorms, as reported by the German Weather Service (DWD).
