Weather - Summer weather in MV - thunderstorms expected on Wednesday
The German Weather Service (DWD) has predicted summer weather for Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In the morning, there will be clouds and occasional rain drops, while temperatures of up to 30 degrees are expected in the further course of the day, according to the DWD. The night to Wednesday will remain dry with minimum temperatures of 21 to 17 degrees.
On Wednesday, there is a possibility of local strong thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail, and gusty winds in the morning. The risk of thunderstorms is particularly high in the eastern parts of the country. According to the DWD, the weather is expected to calm down again in the afternoon. The highest temperatures were 26 to 30 degrees on land and 24 degrees at sea.
In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, specifically Schwerin, the DWD originally forecasted summer weather, but their predictions for Wednesday include local strong thunderstorms in the morning. Despite this temporary weather change, the German Weather Service anticipates calm conditions to return in the afternoon.
