Football-Test-Match - St. Pauli wins at Blessin-debut only with effort

Football-Bundesligist FC St. Pauli won the first test game under trainer Alexander Blessin only with difficulty. The promoter won against the Fourth Division team Bremen SV in Malente with a score of 3:1 (1:1). Blessin is the successor of promotion coach Fabian Hürzeler, who left the club in mid-June towards the English Premier League to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Johannes Eggestein brought FC St. Pauli into the lead after ten minutes. The Regional League team managed to equalize through Nikky Goguadze (25.). After the break, goals from Danel Sinani (64.) and Andreas Albers (86.) made the first test match success for the Hamburgers perfect. St. Pauli's captain Jackson Irvine had to leave the pitch injured after only eight minutes.

FC St. Pauli, hailing from Hamburg, faced off against Bremen SV in a test game at Malente, with the former being a Bundesliga team and the latter being a Fourth Division team. Alexander Blessin, the new trainer at FC St. Pauli, led the team to a 3:1 victory, with Danel Sinani and Andreas Albers scoring second-half goals after Johannes Eggestein had opened the scoring. Unfortunately, St. Pauli's captain, Jackson Irvine, had to leave the game due to an injury after just eight minutes.
