During one of his tours, Slobodzian leaves a small note on the food delivery. He thanks for the order and writes then: "I am also driving by to make my fiancée's wedding possible, which she deserves." He was happy about every additional tip, so the future groom, who also provided the details for a possible transfer.

What he didn't count on: How much the message would touch his customer, Erica Hernandez. She not only gave a generous tip but also posted the note on TikTok. Along with it, she wrote: "I don't have many followers, but hopefully, it reaches the right people."

Surprising Donation Rain

"I felt inspired to post it and see if my friends would be willing to donate or if my followers would," Hernandez told Fox. Initially, Slobodzian discovered the post and was surprised. He had not left the note with the intention that anyone other than the recipient of his delivery would see it, he explained.

But exactly that happened, as within a few hours, Hernandez' TikTok post went viral. Slobodzian received thousands of messages and above all, a lot of donations for the wedding. "We didn't really expect that from it, and the fact that a stranger received our note and felt motivated to put it on the internet and get involved for two strangers is incredible," Perkins told Fox.

Within a week, the couple had collected the money for their dream wedding. In the end, the small note brought not only money but perhaps even a new friendship: The couple gave Hernandez a thousand dollars and also invited her to the wedding.
