- Severe thunderstorms and hail: Maps show where the storm-wet weather is heading

The low-pressure system Larissa is sweeping across Central Europe and is expected to cause unrest in our region until tomorrow. There are frequent heavy thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail, and even storm gusts. Additionally, there are partly muggy temperatures between 26 and 30 degrees, while coastal regions offer more pleasant temperatures between 20 and 23 degrees.

New showers and thunderstorms are approaching from the west on Thursday, moving eastward and bringing prolonged heavy rain in places. Locally, there may be more than 100 liters of precipitation in 24 hours.

The following maps show the current weather situation:

Germany is located within the area affected by the low-pressure system Larissa, leading to potential weather disruptions until tomorrow. Heavy thunderstorms with rain, hail, and strong winds are forecasted for parts of Central Europe, including Germany.
