The fan zone was already closed more than an hour and a half before kick-off during the previous quarter-final between Germany and Spain - its capacity of 25,000 spectators had been reached. Fans were able to alternate between the Olympiastadion, where an additional 8,000 people could find a place. However, it was also closed due to capacity reasons.

Is the EM mood among Germans dampened?

The situation is expected to be different for today's semi-final match - despite the good weather. Many fans of both teams reportedly have tickets and it remains to be seen how many German fans wanted to watch the game, it was stated.
