Forced prostitution - SEK deployed on 23-year-old in Lichtenberg
Due to suspicions of human trafficking, the police raided a 23-year-old man early in the morning in Berlin-Lichtenberg. A spokesperson confirmed this when asked. Since it could not be ruled out that the man possessed a firearm, forces from the Special Operations Command (SEK) were also called in for the operation. It was initially unclear which and how many objects were searched.
A report from the "B.Z.", which stated that the raid affected two houses and several luxury cars, was not confirmed by the spokesperson. It remained unclear whether an arrest was made and what the officers found during the operation.
The raid in Berlin-Lichtenberg was linked to allegations of forced prostitution, a serious crime that the police are committed to combating. Subsequently, suspicious items were discovered during the operation, leading to further investigation by the police and the SEK.
